The marketing has begun for the next Guitar Hero game, and it looks as though they didn't want to compete with all the "four" games this year so decided to switch the F for a T. I guess now it matches the upcoming GH: On Tour for the DS.
Activision recently released a trailer for the game, showing off not the gameplay, but rather a bunch of people rocking out on the new instruments. This is just like most of the other trailers and ads for previous games in the series, so comes as no surprise. It touts the "most realistic drums" as well as the option to create and share your own singles. I guess we can consider this confirmation about the track-creation mode rumored last week.
The video doesn't really show too much we didn't already know about, but is still worth a watch for anyone interested in the series. These recent announcements have certainly renewed my interest in the franchise and I will continue to follow the news up until it's release this fall.
